First exhibit: “Franz Marc / August Macke. The adventure of the Blue Rider

What: Two of the biggest names in German impressionism and the Blue Ride movement: Franz Marc and August Mache. Beginning in 1910, these two artists enjoyed years of friendship due to their shared interest in French art.
Second exhibit: King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh
When: Saturday March 23rd – Monday September 15th 2019
Where: Grande Halle de la Villette
What: On November 4th 1922, British archeologist Howard Carter made an unbelievable discovery in the Valley of the Kings. He uncovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, pharaoh of the 18th Egyptian dynasty in the 14th century BC. The exhibit is an immersive experience, with over 150 masterpieces.
Third exhibit: Black models: from Géricault to Matisse
When: Tuesday March 26th – Sunday July 14th 2019
Where: Musée d’Orsay
What: This multidisciplinary exhibit speaks to the aesthetic, political, social, and racial issues as well as the imagination behind the representation of black figures in the visual arts.
