Where can I see Christmas lights and decorations?
The City of Light proves that it deserves this nickname once December rolls around. Through early January, Christmas lights twinkle around the city. To see the most spectacular, visit the Champs- Elysées or Avenue Montaigne, or stroll around Place Vendome or Bercy Village. Montmartre is another must-see this time of year!
Where can I find Christmas markets?
If you’re looking for seasonal trinkets and a bit of Christmas magic for youngsters, visiting the Parisian Christmas markets will kill two birds with one stone! Take the RER or your car from our hotel and head towards the Christmas markets at Notre Dame cathedral or the Halles neighborhood in central Paris, the Champs de Mars park in front of the Eiffel Tower, or even the Christmas Village at the La Défense business district.
What are some good family-friendly activities?
Of course, nearby Disneyland® Paris is top of any list for family-friendly fun. But Paris has its fair share of things to do as well! From December 16 through January 9, families can enjoy ice skating on the huge pop-up ice rink beneath the glass ceiling of the Grand Palais.
Where can I do some Christmas shopping?
To finish up your Christmas market in style, visit some of the most famous shopping destinations in the world: Paris’ Galeries Lafayette, Printemps Haussman, and the BHV. For something a little closer to “home”, check out the Val d’Europe shopping center across from our hotel!
