In 2024, you might be able to take a flying taxi to Disneyland® Paris
You read that right: in 2024, flying taxis might be traveling to and from the Disneyland® Paris train station, just a few minutes from the Elysée Val d’Europe hotel!
A bird’s eye view of the Seine-et-Marne region
Would you like to see Seine-et-Marne from above? Instead of hitting the road, head up in the air to visit the restaurants, bars, and attractions waiting for you at Disneyland® Paris. In just five years, this dream could very well be a reality!
Partnership between the RATP and Airbus
On May 15th 2019, the RATP transport group signed an agreement with Airbus, planting the seeds of this crazy dream for the Île-de-France region – with 2024 as the goal! A feasibility study is underway to examine the project.
Relief for overcrowded train stations
Before looking further afield, Airbus and RATP are focusing on the busiest RER train stations with particularly high numbers of tourists. In Seine-et-Marne, this is the Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy train station, serving Disneyland® Paris.
Speeds of up to 150 km/h
These taxis would cost about the same as regular taxis – a Euro or two per kilometer. They’ll travel at 150 km/h, bringing guests from the theme parks to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport in under ten minutes.
In the meantime: a free shuttle to get to Disneyland® Paris
While you wait for this transportation of the future, the Elysée Val d’Europe hotel provides a free shuttle between our 4-star hotel and Disneyland® Paris all day every day. Book your stay on our official site!
