Construction alert: Kitchens at the Elysée Val d’Europe Hotel are getting an upgrade
The kitchens of the Elysée Val d’Europe Hotel will be temporarily closed for the month of October 2019, to better serve hotel guests. What does this mean for Le George restaurant? Will this also affect Le Diplomate bar? Our team is answering your questions below.
Why are the Elysée Val d’Europe Hotel kitchens temporarily closing?
Driven by excellence, our 4-star hotel owes its status in part to the impeccable condition of its facilities. The Elysée Val d’Europe will begin construction to repair its kitchen floors. The goal is to exceed industry standards and, of course, our guests’ expectations.
How will construction affect Le George restaurant?
Because of the upcoming work, Le George restaurant will be temporarily closed to both hotel guests and the public. The restaurant will be closed for just nine days.
When will Le George close?
Le George will close after lunch on Monday October 21, 2019. Guests are still welcome for lunch. It will reopen on Thursday October 31, 2019 after lunchtime, which means we will welcome guests beginning at dinnertime on the 31st.
Does this affect all mealtimes?
Construction will only affect brunch, lunch, and dinner. That is to say, hotel guests will still be welcome for breakfast throughout the duration of the work.
Will this closure affect the Elysée Val d’Europe Hotel’s bar?
Just next to the George restaurant, our bar Le Diplomate will remain completely open. You can continue to enjoy your favorite drinks – although we will not be serving food during construction.
