Coronavirus: Hôtel l’Élysée Val d’Europe will be closed
Dear guests,
Over the past few weeks, individuals and businesses alike have suffered from the coronavirus pandemic. The hotel sector in particular, and tourism more broadly, have encountered challenges unlike anything they have ever faced before.
Like many of you, Hôtel l’Élysée Val d’Europe has been affected by this global crisis. The closure of Disneyland® Paris, a loyal partner of our establishment, was followed by the closure of our restaurant and bar – Le George and Le Diplomate – in respect of the order dated March 14, 2020 which introduced new measures in the fight against the virus spreading.
Today, after many days and nights of reflection, we have decided to close our hotel. This is not a decision we have made lightly, but we believe it is in the best interest of our guests and employees. Since we first opened, the safety of our guests has always been our top priority, and in the current situation this is the best way to continue to put our guests first.
In accordance with the order dated March 14, 2020, Hôtel l’Élysée Val d’Europe will be closed until at least April 15, 2020. We understand that this news might be difficult for any guests who had booked a stay during this time. We understand their disappointment, and we invite them to reschedule their stay any time before October 15, 2020. If you had a booking that falls during this time, please write to [email protected] or call +33 (0)1 64 63 33 33. Our teams are ready to listen and help.
We also want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the messages of support that we have received over the past few weeks. We are all looking forward to the day where we can once again welcome you with the level of excellence you have come to expect – as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Guy Richaudeau
Director, Hôtel l’Élysée Val d’Europe
