Have you ever felt the urge to do a sun salutation while looking at Sleeping Beauty Castle? Well, your dreams are coming true once again this year thanks to the Disneyland Paris teams! June 21st is the first day of summer, but it’s also International Yoga Day. For the occasion, Disney® Parks around the world organize events around this spiritual and physical practice, meant to free your mind from bodily constraints by controlling your movement, rhythm, and breath. The parks’ events are for guests but also for its Cast Members, who make the magic come to life every day.
Tara Stiles led a yoga class at Disneyland® Paris
On June 21 2019, lucky yogis enjoyed a morning yoga class for a Zen start to the day, at Walt Disney Studios® Park. This was a fitting follow-up to the 2018 class, which took place in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and was led by 8 yogis including renowned yoga teacher Tara Stiles. Approximately 700 participants were there – without counting Goofy!
