By public transport take the RER A train from Val d’Europe station to Châtelet-Les Halles and from there transfer to the RER B train towards Airport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV and exit at the Parc des Expositions station. It will take you approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Or by car the distance is approximately 33 km and the drive takes 30 minutes approximately.

Wat Thammapathip is an ancient castle transformed into a Thai Buddhist pagoda and is approximately 30 minutes away from our hotel. Established in 2000 by the International Thai Buddhist Association of France, the temple is housed within the Château de Lugny, which is a 19^th century building.

This 5-hectare estate Buddhist sanctuary welcomes all visitors and the park’s pathways are embellished with 400 golden and ivory-coloured Buddha figures.

You can explore the temple, where it’s customary to remove shoes upon entry. The surrounding gardens feature numerous tables and chairs, making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy Thai street food. Various stands offer dishes such as pad thai, papaya salad, and mango sticky rice, with all proceeds supporting the temple’s maintenance.
