#1: at Épernay for the third stage
This year, the Tour de France leaves from Brussels, in Belgium. But by the third stage, the racers will be in France and in the Marne department. Éparnay is a great place to cheer on the racers while staying at the Elysée Val d’Europe, as it is only an hour and 20 minutes from our hotel. Adventurous guests could even travel by bike – but you should plan for a 6-hour ride! Make a note in your agenda for Monday July 8th!
#2: at Rambouillet for the last stage
After traveling through Nancy, Colmar, Saint-Étienne, Albi, Tarbes, Foix, Nîmes and Albertville, the athletes will meet on Sunday July 28th for the final stage in the 2019 Tour de France. From our hotel, you can get to the Champs-Élysées in just 45 minutes on the RER and catch the racers crossing the finish line. But you could also head to Rambouillet, the start of the last stage. This area is well known for its cultural richness and enormous forest, and it is just an hour and 20 minutes from the Val d’Europe by car.
#3: on TV at the Le Diplomate bar for all stages
There’s nothing wrong with catching the race on TV – and our 4-star hotel will have big screens available to watch all the action live. Enjoy a cold beer or a refreshing soft drink while you watch Froome, Bardet, and Alaphilippe race to the finish line.
